Over 30 years ago I did visit USA, my dreamland of my childhood and later. My visit was one year total legal and work permit even. I met many good and bad in the USA that time.
Bad:

Everybody own a few guns and total easy to die in the USA of that time - even more than "wild wild west" years ago. One year visit and I've met face to face gun two times - terrible ... I thought it is end of my life ...

USA administration - precise INS of 1989 - they no respect and total ignore people of Europe whose want to live USA by political asylum - like me !! They probably prefer (hell knows why) all those illegal from latino lands, Asia or Africa or Arabs whose later kill over 3000 Americans in WTC. If they let people like me to legal stay - never happend WTC tragedy because of us - never !!
Good:
I've seen NYC, Hollywood, LA and Seattle very close. Met people, some famous later even like Chris Cornell / Sundgarden.
... and clue - key point - point of the post --- I've bought USA best beer name 'Miller' today and California very popular - 'Corona' beer. Memories came to me ... That is another good of USA I remember - Miller and Corona beer. Corona is original of Mexico but Miller is not the same / original of USA but version made by 'Staropramen Brewery' of Prague / Chech Republic. Taste is almost same if I remember good after over 30 years Not like 'Heineken' or 'Grolsh' of Holland which made in Poland are total far away of original / other taste - wrong and bad taste.
