NO WC IN THE BIG CITY CENTERS
a disgrace to humanity!!
Traveling around the
world, I have noticed a significant drawback for many years, namely the lack of
toilets / WC in city centers - tourist cities, i.e. visited by thousands of
tourists every day - millions of tourists a year!!
The reality is that
if you want to pee (and ‘god’ forbid poo / shit) - then look for bushes or open
gates, etc. places. This is a nasty neglect of our times. Sometimes you will
find (very rarely) a public toilet / WC but always paid!! Well, if you don't
have money / coins of a given country at a given time, you have a big problem
!!
Well, is it okay or
is it rather humiliating, insulting human dignity that in the 21st century, a
civilized man would look for a place to settle his physiological needs as in
prehistoric times / split stone-era,
i.e. in bushes, behind trees, open gates of houses, etc. ?!?!
City authorities
don't really care about these things - SUCH A SAD FACT!! Recently I was in
Prague, Berlin, Dresden or Milan, or earlier in Rome, Florence, Venice or
Verona or Pisa. I used to be in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle or Amsterdam or
London before. The same everywhere - NO EASILY ACCESSIBLE, FREE, PUBLIC WC!!
FREE!! - which is
worth emphasizing as tourists leave millions in these cities and you should not
rip money off them for simple and known for centuries physiological needs.
The negligence of
the rulers of cities is enormous, considering how it is built and how man
works. I would venture to say that such a state of affairs is a violation of
basic human / human rights.
I am from Europe and
I suggest the authorities of the European Union to take care of at least some
top-down ordinance so that cities finally take care of tourists or ordinary
city-goers as it should be, i.e. in a humane way!!
Well, because what we have now is an obvious disgrace to humanity ...
